EvoGuide 50 3D Printed Clamshell

Our 3D printed EvoGuide 50 Clamshell is designed to make it easy to mount the SkyWatcher EvoGuide 50 refractor and a guidescope for wide-field imaging when combined with our EvoFF field flattener.

On top of the clamshell is a standard mounting foot for common small guidescopes like the ZWO 30mm mini or the William Optics Uniguide 30mm and others.  Two thumbscrews securely hold the guidescope mounting foot.

The bottom of the clamshell has a variety of tapped 1/4-20 holes to match different mounting plates.  It is designed to work several options:  the green dovetail that comes with the new DX version of the EvoGuide 50; the Celestron CG-5 Universal dovetail plate; or a Losmandy DVA clamp, which can be used to piggyback the EvoGuide on both Vixen and Losmandy style dovetails.  Other mounting plates may also be compatible with the hole pattern.

The clamshell is printed from durable PETG material.  Included are four 1/4-20 x 1/2" screws for clamping the clamshell halves together, two 1/4-20 x 1/2" screws for mounting a dovetail to the bottom of the clamshell, and two M4 thumbscrews for securing a guidescope.
