Why GHK-Cu

GHK-Cu, or copper tripeptide-1, is a compound that occurs naturally in the body and becomes less abundant with age. This serum delivers it at 1 percent — the concentration used in professional formulations — and the number is on the label, because you should not have to guess.

What it does

• Helps skin look firmer. With continued use, the complexion looks plumper and more resilient.
• Softens the look of fine lines. Visibly diminishes the appearance of fine lines and crow's feet with regular use.
• For the look of fuller hair. Applied to the hairline or scalp, it may contribute to the appearance of thicker, more vital-looking hair as part of a regular routine.
• For a more even-looking tone. Regular use may contribute to the appearance of a more even complexion and improved surface texture.

How to use it

Face: Apply 2 to 3 drops to cleansed skin, morning or evening. Follow with moisturiser. Avoid direct eye contact.

Hair and scalp: Apply 3 to 5 drops directly to the scalp or hairline. Massage in gently. No need to rinse. Style as usual.

One combination to avoid: do not layer copper peptide with vitamin C or retinol in the same routine. Use them at opposite ends of the day.

The preservative is Leucidal Liquid — a radish root ferment, not a synthetic. We use it because it works and because it is the kind of preservation this brand was built on. It is gentler than a synthetic system, which means the serum is happiest cold: keep it in the refrigerator and it will stay fresh and potent.

Fragrance-free. Paraben-free. 0.5 oz blue glass dropper bottle, approximately 300 drops.

A note from the formulator

We used to sell this as a booster you blended yourself. It is now finished and ready to use, at the same 1 percent, because most people wanted the peptide without the mixing step.

Three ingredients and a natural preservative is about as short as an ingredient list gets. That is deliberate.
