Kids Insoles for Flat Feet and Overpronation

Footminders KIDS are podiatrist-designed orthotic insoles for kids with flat feet, low arches, or ankles that roll inward when they walk. If your child gets tired quickly, complains about sore feet after school or sports, or wears down the inside edge of their shoes, firm arch support can help steady their feet and make everyday walking more comfortable. Each pair has structured arch support, a deep heel cup that keeps the heel centered, and cushioning under the heel for active days. The 3/4-length design fits most sneakers and school shoes without crowding the toes. These insoles for kids fit children from about age 4 to 10. If your child has outgrown size K, choose our Comfort insoles in X-Small.

  • Helps support flat feet and low arches with structured pediatric arch support
  • Helps improve stability for children who roll inward (overpronation)
  • Deep heel cup to keep the heel aligned and supported
  • Heel cushioning for comfort during school, play, and sports
  • 3/4-length design fits most kids’ shoes without crowding toes
  • Designed for sneakers, school shoes, sports shoes, and casual footwear

Signs Your Child May Benefit From Kids Orthotic Shoe Inserts

  • Child has foot pain or heel pain after activity, long walks, or standing
  • Ankles collapse inward when standing or walking (overpronation)
  • Shoes wear down faster on the inside edge
  • “Growing pains,” tired legs, or frequent complaints about discomfort

Simple Parent Check: Look at the Ankles From Behind

Have your child stand naturally. If the ankles roll inward and the heel looks tilted instead of straight, that often suggests overpronation. Supportive children’s orthotic insoles can help provide structure and stability inside the shoe.

Fit and Comfort Tips

  • Place the orthotics in the shoe over (or instead of) the factory insole depending on shoe depth
  • Break-in: start with 1 to 2 hours on day one, then increase daily as comfort allows
  • Make sure the heel sits fully in the heel cup for best support

Choose the size that matches your child’s shoe size and add to cart to give your child supportive arch comfort in minutes. If pain is severe, persistent, or worsening, consult a healthcare professional.

Which size does my child need?

Measure from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe, with your child standing.

  • Size SK fits feet 6.5 to 7.4 inches (about ages 4 to 6)
  • Size K fits feet 7.5 to 8.4 inches (about ages 7 to 10)

Longer than 8.4 inches? Choose Footminders Comfort  or Casual in size X-Small.

Between sizes? Choose the larger size.
