Mabinogion Map of Wales poster by Margaret Jones

A2 poster of Wales based on the tales of the Mabinogi beautifully illustrated by Margaret Jones (1898-2023).

Born in England, Margaret spent the first part of her married life in India with her Welsh Presbyterian minister husband. Her husband was subsequently appointed lecturer in Religious Studies at UCW Aberystwyth. It is said that Margaret Jones has since played a significant part in defining and conveying the visual mythology of Wales.

In illustrating many of Wales’ folk stories, Margaret Jones has helped to preserve and promote them for future generations, and captivated audiences young and old.
