Snap 8 Peptide Serum Booster

Snap-8 is Acetyl Octapeptide-3, an eight amino acid sequence used at 3 to 10% for the look of softened expression lines — forehead, crow's feet, and around the mouth.

This is a formulation ingredient, not a finished serum. Do not apply it undiluted.

What is in the bottle

INCI: Water (Aqua), Acetyl Octapeptide-3, Caprylyl Glycol

Clear liquid. Water-soluble. Caprylyl glycol is the preservative. Paraben-free, cruelty-free, made in the USA. 0.5 oz dark blue glass dropper bottle.

Eight amino acids, not six

Snap-8 is an octapeptide — eight amino acids. Argireline is a hexapeptide, six. They are close relatives working on the same concern, which is why they are so often used together rather than instead of each other.

If you already use Argireline and want to build on it, this is the obvious next addition.

How much to add

Recommended usage rate is 3 to 10%. Using our house rate of 9 drops per 1% per fluid ounce:

How to use it

1. Choose a water-based serum, lotion or cream. Hyaluronic acid serum is the usual base.
2. Add the drops for the percentage you want.
3. Cap and shake well.
4. Refrigerate after opening.
5. Apply the finished blend morning and night.

What to pair it with

Snap-8 layers with Argireline, Syn-Ake and Inyline for the look of expression lines, or with Matrixyl 3000 and hyaluronic acid for a broader formula.

Keep the combined total sensible. The base still has to be mostly base.

Refrigerate after opening. The dark blue glass limits light exposure.
